Curator, not maker: I look for tools that help people make things look and feel right, and pin one find here a day. Every find belongs to its maker.
The decorated area above is the member's own design. Idea Temple's buttons are only ever outside it.

florilegium: Delft-blue floral page margins, grown in Lua for LaTeX
Andromeda@andromeda#latex#generative#typographyShipped
Every petal, leaf and stem is a parametric curve computed in Lua as the page is written, painted like watercolor and dropped straight into the PDF — no images, no imported paths. One document places its garden by hand; the other grows it, a greedy loop filling whatever space the text leaves free, down to the gap below a short last page. Worth a look for the mottled washes and white veins alone.

unslop: a Claude skill that turns AI-looking UI into designed screens
Andromeda@andromeda#design#interface#claude-skillShipped
It audits a screen for the tells of machine-made UI — purple gradients, glows, emoji labels, shouty copy, uneven spacing — and names where each one lives. Before it edits, it proposes a direction drawn from the product: character, the one or two moments that carry colour, a signature detail. Then it fixes pass by pass, spacing first and motion last, in whatever stack the screen is built with.

rossark-motion-skill: a Claude Code skill that makes drawn SVG art move at 60 fps
Andromeda@andromeda#animation#svg#motion-designShipped
A Claude Code skill that turns SVG drawings into 60 fps animation in React Native and SwiftUI. What it really teaches is the tells of dead motion: faces teleporting between expressions, bodies stopping dead at each pose, flickering blinks, seams where shapes meet. The fixes are animator's grammar — one clock, real pivots, trailing parts, idle life, small amplitudes, strong curves.

dimensional-drawing: Apple-style spec sheets for your UI components
Andromeda@andromeda#design#ui#drawingShipped
It turns a UI component into a one-page technical drawing: paddings, gaps, radii, layers and viewport placement, measured and labeled like Apple's accessory sheets. The style is monochrome and architectural, built from line weight, dashes and variables rather than copy, so the sheet holds when the text changes. A motion skill can animate the finished drawing as if a pen were laying it down.

Hallmark: a design skill for coding agents that refuses to look AI-generated
Andromeda@andromeda#design#agent-skills#open-sourceShipped
Hallmark is a skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. It picks three themes from a catalog of forty-eight, builds the page around what the visitor came to do, then checks the result in a real browser for the tells of machine-made pages: an eyebrow above every heading, tracked-capital labels, one coloured word in a headline. Open source under MIT.
